Prayer From Creation

I Am A Man Of Dust

Listen To Prayer

A heavenly light shone bright in a cathedral,
then suddenly the lord spoke,
“Behold the light comes back to me!”
I fell to my knees and bowed before the king
For his presence was everything.

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you!

There was silence for a bit,
and then he spoke again,
There came something sacred as he said,
“O heavenly bliss that finds space in my heart, let all be filled with love.
I am God, the saviour, the one who reigns above.”

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you!

I cried and cried till I couldn’t speak,
What a miracle was this?
That I heard my father and felt his love in me.
This was the first time that I heard his voice so loud.
There was no one in sight at the cathedral, no crowd.

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you!

That’s when I wondered why he chose to speak?!
I was beaten by life,
and believed that everything happened by chance.
I ended up at the cathedral and learned of fate,
I understood that the forbidden fruit I ate.

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you!

For I am a sinner tied in chains.
Only Christ could help me out.
For he loves me,
and wants me to be free of the pains I inflicted on me,
Christ my redeemer, you are the way the key.

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you!

There comes a time when all is judged.
For he knows justice and good.
Jesus is the only one who can see it all.
My father of heaven I thank you for this night.
I have seen you, heard you, and I know I will be alright.

O lord, O lord,
I see your grace,
and must admit to you.
I am a man of dust,
and nothing without you.
Nothing without you
