Dear Life
If the world is a place for sinners, I think this planet is the forbidden fruit. I have seen that where people think they are seeking love, they are truly hungry for power. They say that greatness can be achieved by only a select few, and that their prosperity depends a great deal on luck, passion, perseverance, and pain. However, I cannot deny the reality that I have seen, where I have come to know a world, where people attain a great deal of power, using sinful means. The quest for greatness on this earth, is one that is not so great when you realize what attaining power and greatness means on this planet. Why is it that mankind has this power-lust inside of him? God came to man’s door to offer him blessings and love, and all was denied by the man and woman. Man was dissatisfied with the love offered by Mary, and woman said she would let no man surrender his will to God. This is not something that we are consciously aware of on this earth. I guess its all-God’s will. The will of a God so great, that he came to man in bone and flesh, to offer them his love. Yet by the will of nature, and the world, he was denied and forsaken for sin.
God’s loving hand is above me, and yet in this physical world, it appears that I could be a failure. There is anger and resentment inside of the lord for those who have truly betrayed him, and for those whom he loves and for those who said they love him, he is upset. He is upset because they denied his love and rejected his presence. But he knows that the ounce of life within them has a drop of love in it for him and that drop is enough to last mankind for generations and generations. Man is truly satisfied in the ounce of love he has received from the highest Lord, God. As I write this heartfelt and divinely guided epistle, a story comes to mind of a famous man’s encounter with God. The man was well off, and he was a sports player. He came to God’s doorstep feeling greatness and having seen fame he, felt like he was complete and that he had everything. When he saw God, he asked, why have you called me? I don’t need your blessings, and I don’t worship you. God said, “I thought of you, and you came to my doorstep.” God said, “well I know you have everything and that you are a God in your world, but there might be something missing.” The man was taken aback. “What could be missing he wondered?” “I don’t need anything more!” Then God whispered, “There is something and that is, love” The sports player looked down to the ground and started to ponder about what God said to him.
“I agree that you have mastered the material world and that you have become a king in this world however, your soul is still not satisfied. You are truly deprived of love.” The man’s eyes began to form tears. He looked up at God and said, “Maybe…maybe your right.” In that moment, God reminded him of his sacrifice for mankind and told him that even though he couldn’t see it in the physical world, that God’s love for him was present and supreme to the worldly things. The man had a meltdown and felt, for the first time, God’s love gushing through his soul. “This is a love I have never felt before!” he cried. “I never want to lose this…I want to talk to you everyday.” God reassured him that he wouldn’t be forgotten, and that God would love him forever. It is this story precisely that makes my heart want to continue singing the hymns of the lord. God not only reassured the man that he was loved, however, humbled himself and spoke to the man as if it was his own son. I don’t know about anything more than love in this life. I hope that you too reap the great blessing of love for it is only this power that can free you from the world and help you seek the lord, God.
Until next time,
-Mary
